November Meeting – Paul McCosker on Restoring Wilgendene

Paul McCosker desendent of the McCuskers who sailed to Australia in the 1837 voyage of the Adam Lodge where Dr Alick Osborne was the Ship’s Surgeon. Paul shared his experiences in renovating the heritage home of Wilgendene in Jones Place Corrimal.

Illawarra Remembers 1914 – 1918 Scan and Share Day Wollongong City Library

The last  Scan & Share day was October 10 at Wollongong Library – here are Illawarra Family History Group members helping out on the day – with a  South Coast Chapter of Fellowship of First Fleeter member, John Boyd, showing a photo of an unknown soldier from Dapto RSL (second pic) and with the Panucci Graphics folks working their magic and scanning the WW1 images (third & fourth pics). We even had records of one of the South Coast Waratahs brought in – click here for Waratahs.
